Momo Kobayashi
Momo Kobayashi, a 15 year old sophomore at Greenwich High School, is deeply passionate about the violin and has been playing for almost 11 years. She is currently studying with Mr. Ray Iwazumi. So far, she has attended summer music festivals including Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Atlantic Music Festival, and Blue Mountain Festival. She is also part of the Norwalk Youth Symphony Principal Orchestra. Momo played at the CMEA All-State Orchestra in 2024. She plans to continue music throughout her high school years, and aims to pursue music in college. The American Chamber Orchestra competition is the first competition she has won, and she is thrilled to be playing with an orchestra for the first time! Outside of school and violin, Momo enjoys doing karate, sparring, horseback riding, and spending time with her sister, Sakura.
